Think about what information you gave, as I fear it is possible you were scammed.

This is a new thing, where they use fake CAPTCHA popups, which sounds like what you experienced. I had one pop up and it didn't make any sense, as I was just browsing Rawstory (never had a CAPTCHA there before). They inject them into ads.

If you gave any information, you may need to take action to protect yourself.
