does not live nearby, but we have kept in touch usually on at least a monthly basis. To be honest, I can hardly stand to talk to him because of his agreement or lack of concern about everything that is going on these days. It is pretty obvious he has the same narcistic traits of Trump - he basically only cares about himself and everyone else is not his problem. I just can't relate to that. Although I am too old to do much these days and luckily have been lucky enough that it will not affect me financially, it just sickens me to see what is happening to my State (Texas) and my country. I realize that Trump is not the cause of this, but rather represents a mindset that has been around all of my life, especially here in the South. But it still bothers me.
I also have issues with my own family and that really sucks. But I cannot just ignore it. It gives me guilt, but I just cannot make myself think this is OK. It's not by any measure.
