they dont pee, exactly. it’s mixed w the poop. but that’s where the sperm and egg come out. they rub them together when they mate.
other birds will also lay w/o a mate. lots of pet birds get so attached to their owner that they lay. esp if the day/light cycles r just right. they sometimes do this til eventually an egg gets stuck, which is often fatal.
