in N. Dakota was loaded with bees and had a flat near our place a few years back. They bring the bees down every year to help with the pollination for the crops in South Texas Valley area.
I stopped and when I approached the vehicle it had thousand of bees flying all around and the driver hollered out for me to stay back or these "bug" might sting me. He walked over to my truck and I asked if I might help. I brought a big jack and tire tool and he changed the flat. He thanked me and took my name and address.
About two months later, I got a delivery of 4 qts of some of the best honey I have ever tasted. It totally surprised me.
Prior to that, I had no idea that they transported bees for AG use - very interesting.
