80. That's a tough one.

If you would have told me 20 years ago I would become a birder. I would have called you crazy, but here I am. Managing 6 or more feeding stations. My favorite bird(s) change with the seasons. Presently purple martins are my favorite. Or perhaps humming birds, can’t forget the eastern bluebirds, or the orioles, maybe red wing blackbirds that nest in our cattails? See where I’m going here, lol.

Unfortunately we only have two mating pairs of martins this year because we also have a mating pair of red shoulder hawks. And they have grown fond of using the Martin house as their perch. If I could post a picture. I would post a pic (or 10 ) of our latest pets, a pair of wild turkeys.

Okay I’ll stop now because I truly love birds.
