Michaels buys Joann Fabrics [View all]

https://www.housebeautiful.com/shopping/best-stores/a64994059/michaels-acquired-joann-crafts/

If you go to the Joann Fabrics website a Michaels home page pops up with "Welcome Joann Customers!" at the top. Michaels is planning to expand their sewing department - which they currently don't have one of - to meet the needs of sewists as well as the brides and flower arrangers they currently specialize in.

My real concern here at store level is Michaels stores are already packed to the gills with non-sewing supplies so...barring Michaels moving their stores into old Joann stores, or rebadging those stores as something like "Michaels Fabricraft"...where are they going to put all the new merchandise?
