That is a decent amount of money to receive from SS.

Do you get this much if your SSDI goes through?

I got only $800 a month when I first became officially disabled.

Now I am too old to be on SSDI and I receive $1215 a month after Medicare is deducted.

I worked for many years before I had to choice but to quit.

I am ashamed about my poverty level income but I certainly cannot work any longer and I'm too old now.
