There's an ESPN 30 for 30 about Chestnut & Kobayashi.
These folks get really fit before a contest, then eat sparingly for a few days before a contest.
Their metabolism is bumped way up, then they are low on intake, so they digest at an amazing rate.
Oh, and they do heavy cardio for the next few days & don't eat.
Kobayashi brought a scientific approach to these contests.
BTW: the woman who won only weighs about 120 pounds. So, she certainly isn't stuffing herself between contests.
