No Bagged Ice Here [View all]

The whole holiday weekend, stores starting putting signs on their door saying "No ice. Sorry for the inconvenience."
By yesterday afternoon I saw it at 5 gas stations, 4 liquor stores, 2 supermarkets, and 3 dollar stores.
Supermarket manager told me one of the ice company's big delivery trucks had a rollover accident on the interstate Thursday afternoon.
So, all those deliveries are lost, and the now are trying to rebuild inventory, plus they are one delivery truck short.
I'm sure that screwed up a lot of picnics & gatherings for the 4th.
I don't know if the driver was hurt or not. I hope not. I couldn't find anything on the local paper website.
