23. ONly as a kid before entering the swimming pool

We lived on a Navy base and one of the requirements for using the pool was you had to take a shower before entering the swimming pool. There was an outdoor shower by the entrance and when you stepped onto the wood platform the shower would begin. Of course, it was cold water and we'd stand under for about 30 - 45 seconds and then jump into the pool. The pool's water was much warmer than the shower's water so we'd immediately feel a rise in temperature of about 20 or more degrees. I'll admit, that warm feeling made me feel good.
