It hasn't happened before, and I consider Detroit one of the best baseball cities in MLB -- a workingman's town, and the ballplayers have sort of reflected that. I absolutely loved it when they won the 1984 World Series and àbout half the guys came out of the clubhouse, cllimbed on top of the third-base dugout and celebrated with the fans.
