I don't like weird stuff (Salvador DALI). This is different. [View all]

I freely bruit about the topic of my ignorance on any and every subject. This should be proved just by my almost bragging that YouTube has expanded my learning far beyond what formal education provided (or should I have studied more? ). Anyway, Art is near the bottom of my bottomless list of things. And my general, uninformed impression has been that one Senor Salvador DALI is a minor practitioner and a weirdo. He was amusing in the What's My Line clip where he's so full of himself that he answers "Yes" to all of the questions about what field of endeavor he is proficient in - soccer player, everything.

And I consider myself to be a Secular Humanist if labels are an issue, or something of a Lapsed Catholic, such that "religion" is not a criterion for my snap judgments. So this DALI unexpectedly grabbed my attention - and my treasury of cliches contains one that "Art" is supposed to do that grabbing thing?
