what is in your go bag ? mine a 2 way radio as well as other things [View all]

need ideas to keep it simple and light. cant keep it near the front door as we cant block it.
friend of mine worked for ibm. i b bm was having a earthquake drill.; then the loma preata quake hit at 3 pm. everybody paniced . they gave my friend a 2 way radio and he said he learned more things from that 2 way radio. id also have a scanner , however id have a portable am and fm radio as one needs to be careful on what is said on a scanner..
