9. I was doing that during a conference session

I was at a conference in Boston many years ago and for the first few morning sessions I could not stay awake, doing the nodding and bolt upright bit over and over, despite having drunk several little cups of complimentary coffee. The hotel was attached to a shopping mall where during a break I went to an Au Bon Pain and purchased an iced coffee drink called a "Mocha Blast". I drank it down and was wide awake for the remaining sessions, often raising my hand with questions or comments, some of which were brilliant.
