4. I nearly just started a thread on this since I saw nothing in the TV forum, but fortunately I did a search first.

It's quite compelling. I'm not a true crime or cold case fan in the slightest. My ex loves that stuff, but I tend to stay clear. But, I read a description of it before it aired and the case rang a distant bell for me. I would have been 25 at the time, and when it made the national news it must have gotten my attention.

I watched the second ep earlier today. Showing the investigators today, referring back on what happened, is powerful. The lead detective suffered so much from the case. It seems to have nearly destroyed his life, what with a ruined marriage and the PTSD he has to deal with.

Seems like hubris on the part of the APD played a not insignificant role in this case going unsolved.
