1. When I Was In 5th Grade...

...I did a book report on "The Double Helix".
It was 100% centered around Watson & Crick.
Rosie Franklin was not mentioned in a good light. (Smart, but difficult, and so on. Odd, because Frick & his wife were actually Franklin's friends.)
Decades later, I learned some of the nonsense she had to put up with.
She was one of only 3 X-Ray Crystallographers in the entire world at the time.
It is reasonably suspected that the less than robust shielding on the instruments she used caused multiple cancers that took her at a very young age.
