Do you get groceries delivered? [View all]

I'm a fan, because we are an elderly couple. However, I used to love visiting my food, so to speak, in person and picking out just the very best one of whatever I was shopping for.

But now, being old, I just want to get the food ordered and paid for online with my debit card. I get the groceries in the time frame I wish and I prepay a tip so it's all carried in the house and all I have to do is unpack the bags. It works out very well.

One thing: you can't order a limited number of some things such as bananas. I am the only one eating them and I ask for one and get one bunch, usually of 4 in total. Far too many bananas for me and my little cereal bowl! I'm never gonna make banana bread cuz I can't stay on my feet that long before my arthritic back gives out. (I guess I have to check out articles that help me cope with more bananas).

I find that the groceries are good quality and the fresh produce usually very fresh.

I like the service. YMMV of course...
