38. Bananas last a little bit longer if you keep them in the frige.

I too am the only one who eats the bananas. I use about 1/2 a banana a day on my cereal. Usually buy 3 at a time. I keep them in the refrigerator and they usually last 5-6 days. The skin may turn dark, but the fruit itself stays in pretty good shape. Give it a try.
