I don’t want to end up hanging on a wall because I supported the conclave of 1615 over the one in 1727. When the subject comes up at work or elsewhere, my standard reply goes thusly:
There are three things I don’t discuss at work / in a social setting / etc.:
1. Politics
2. Religion
3. The torture chamber in my basement where I mutilated all those people

4. Better make that FOUR things

Cue nervous laughter, followed by change of subject.
