I keep the Christmas and Halloween ones put away because I’m running out of room. I substitute teach and show the kids a few sets if they do their work! It’s a great bribe! I was out with my husband one day and this kid ran up to me and asked me if I had any salt and pepper shakers on me. Her parents said she loved seeing them! Sometimes I don’t break them out unless I’m asked in the higher grades. A teacher gave me the other a toaster with two pieces of toast on them salt and pepper shakers. And the other day I brought Peter cottontail rabbit with a watering can.

I try to restrain myself buying them. And whenever I traveled overseas I brought some interesting ones!
