Between 1989 and 2000 I sold over one hundred pcs of art by traditional means… agents and galleries. Over the last twenty years I have sold art,,, but on my own with little help or representation.
This is a paradigm shift that is effecting every corner of the art and literary world. The art marketing business model keeps moving the goal posts. Add to that the decrease in disposable income and the pandemic … forgedaboudit. The cherry on to is that AI is going to make us all irrelevant.



A wise friend once told me “Artistic achievement cannot be measured in the cold calculation of income.” I’m holding on to that.
