1. I am pretty sure that exposure to UV Light is what is causing the disintegration...

...not being an expert, but I do have a substantial art collection, for which I have similar concerns.

I would first and most importantly remove them from the direct exposure to UV Light.

Spraying/coating them with chemicals will do more harm than good, IMO.

Get UV blocking glass if you want to display them.

Consider a professional framer to properly mount them in a shadowbox type of display.
