basically coddle the insurance industry which will likely cherry pick the healthy persons (the profitable ones) and leave the plan of last resort with the sickest ones.

Thats what always happens.

Few people realize just how and why single payer runs into these problems, one is that the US has been writing trade deals that make all the constituent parts of single payer FTA-illegal for a long time, they basically exclude everything that can save money, systematically.

We've again and again told other countries that its barred by trade deals they signed, in other words we're fighting a war against single payer and public education as well..

Globally, as we try to use our trade muscle to prevent it.
