...driven by piano, Lady Madonna is easily superior to Hey Jude.
So, we agree on that completely.
I think Yesterday is over-arranged. I think just a cello & viola would have been better than the string arrangement & I think some light alternative percussion would have been nice. It's a legendary song, but not near the Beatles' best work.
