It's a little deviation from just videos or audio items. This is a tongue-in-cheek music quiz for fun. (I hope!)
Here are some snippets of selected lyrics of popular songs of the 60s and 70s. The idea is simply to identify the song title from the lyrics. I did this 20 or so years ago for an old high school reunion but as a crossword puzzle then. It went over very well. Of course, the people were "closer" to the 60s and 70s then so it may have been easier for them than many today. But I hope you enjoy it. If you did live through that period or like the music from it, it may jog your memory or bring back some - good or bad!
This one has 52. If you can get 40 or more, that's pretty good. Less than that and maybe some vitamin B12 would be considered!
Of course, the net allows easy ways to find an answer, but that really isn't the fun part. Just pretend like Ike, JFK, Johnson, Nixon or Carter is president and you just left a dance or drive-in or turned off the AM/FM (maybe even early 8-track!) in your car on the way to, at, or from that special person's house (or were listening at some quiet, dark, secluded parking spot...ahem!)
I will post the answers in a couple of days.
Music of the 60s and 70s
