I know there is a lot of competition for the title, but I honestly think this mountain is the most beautiful in the world. Where it is located is everything in my book. This volcano appears to come out of nowhere.

I also think Crater Lake may be the most beautiful lake on the planet, and Burney Falls the most beautiful falls on the planet.

This part of the country has an embarrassment of scenic riches. I also find the desert southwest such as Arizona and Utah very tough to beat.

I would never live anywhere else but the western United States.
