12. I decided to post one because of Omaha Steve's post on John Cavanaugh: How a skate park taught me about real change

We faced the same problem, getting chased by cops and even getting arrested by them in my earlier years of skateboarding. Then we teamed up with parents and got the city to provide a place for us to skate. Of course the gravel was the worst, you could barely ride on it but they let us build ramps on it and we did so. I even ran the place for a while as a city employee. Hope you all like it.
