The nominations for the 2025 Emmy Awards have been announced. The 77th award ceremony will air on CBS and Paramount+ on September 14 and be hosted by stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze. The 2025 Daytime Emmy nominations have already been revealed. Additionally, the Creative Arts Emmy ceremonies will air on September 6-7.

The categories for the Emmy Awards will consist of 25 different categories that range from reality television, late-night talk shows, dramas, comedies, and variety specials. Looking back at the 2024 Emmy Awards winners, last year's big winner was Shōgun, which won a total of 18 different awards. Below includes a list of the major Emmy Awards nominees:

I love "The Bear" but I don't think of it as a comedy series, do you?
Yes there are some amusing scenes but to me, it's mainly a drama, or "dramedy."
