1. This time around there are a lot of choices I just can't get behind. I LOVED the PITT with Noah Wyle

I liked The Last of Us right up to the point where they killed off the one actor/character I really liked (I won't spoil it for those who are or intend to watch).

I could not get past Severance's monotonous white set--try as I might. I watched White Lotus out of curiosiy and because I've liked Walton Goggins since his great stint alongside Timothy Olyphant in Justified--but I found it lacking this season, at least. I haven't seen the latest season of the Diplomate--the first was pretty good--nor any of the other shows up for best dramatic show.

I'd agree that the Bear seems to be out of category as a "comedy." I'm halfway through this current season and finding it to be really disappointing, however. Maybe it gets better?

I can't really speak to the rest of the comedies nor the limited series...

Overall, my impression is of an Emmy Year with some definite "stand-outs" but weaker than expected overall. YMMV..
