before Election Day. For the General Election, the deadline is October 8, 2012.

2. WHAT TO BRING
Make sure you bring one of these to the polls to be sure your vote counts:
a current and valid photo ID
OR one of the following documents (copies are ok):
A current utility bill
A bank statement
A government check or paycheck
A other government document that shows the name and address of the voter
