2. The No on 33 ads come from developers

who falsely claim that it will prevent them from building affordable housing - I can point to a town near me that has rent control where a developer is doubling the number of apartments and keeping rents the same for existing tenants (it's taking more time and involves some people moving twice in the course of a few years, but it can be done). I voted Yes on 33, No on the other 2 - one because I oppose earmarking and one because the legislature IMHO should be taking the lead here. Since I've already sent in my ballot and recycled all my materials I don't remember which was which.
