Good GAWD--why the hell didn't the grandmother step forward? Surely she knew better? If any do NOT know, one NEVER feeds honey to infants or the youngest children less than 12 months because of the risk of botulinum spores that their immature digestive system cannot handle or neutralize.

How damned tragic.
