5. Tina Peters was convicted on state charges so no possibility of a Presidential pardon

There is nothing he can legally do to Colorado to force them to release Tina Peters. In fact, they would probably have to break state law to do so absent a pardon by the governor. People die in prison all the time, why should this criminal get a break?
