Selling our house in the Westville section of New Haven, after living here over 35 years.

The good news is that our house has doubled in value (or what we paid for it) over the years, so that is a financial comfort for us.

I'm still nervous and will be until we get this all settled. Our realtors are confident. There is a demand for our specific kind of house, a prewar colonial in a specific part of Westville. I had no idea the real estate business had this amount of specificity but of course it would (I just haven't been paying attention).

I know how fortunate I am. I"m just nervous.
