In 1970, Revell sold model kits for Russian spy ships in toy stores.

Dated 1970. Larger scale kit is almost 15 inches long when assembled. Features full hull, electronic surveillance gear, radar masts and antenna, full deck fittings and rails, large movable derrick, movable lifeboat davit, rudder and small cargo booms, whaleback and full toprails, searchlights and compass, two Russian Spy crew figures, Russian markings and display base. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.
