Checkpoint with ICE agents met by protesters in D.C.

Tensions over President Donald Trumps deployment of federal law enforcement erupted on a busy Northwest Washington street Wednesday night as a mix of local and federal authorities pulled over drivers for seat belt violations or broken taillights while nearly 100 onlookers chanted: Go home, fascists.

Thinning out now. DC police the only ones left, and they're packing up too.
Locals mobilized quickly out here, with handwritten signs warning drivers to avoid this block, lined up ready to protest what's happening. People shouting down from apartments too.
