ORLANDO, Fla. (TNND) A third death has been reported on Walt Disney World property in just 10 days, according to reports.
A man in his 60s died at Disneys Contemporary Resort near Magic Kingdom Park outside Orlando, Florida, on October 23, the Orange County Medical Examiners Office told the New York Post. A TikTok video from Thursday shows police tape and emergency workers in the hotels courtyard.
The medical examiner's office told Fox Business the cause of death for the man was ruled a suicide.
Before that, another man in his 60s died after experiencing a medical episode at Disney's Fort Wilderness campground on Oct. 21. The man was taken to the hospital, where he later passed.
"There are no signs of foul play," the Orange County Sheriff's Office told the Post.
The first death was that of 31-year-old superfan Summer Equitz, who authorities said took her life at Disneys Contemporary Resort on Oct. 14.
According to the
New York Post, officials said she died of multiple blunt impact injuries after earlier reports wrongly stated she was struck by the monorail, which passes through the middle of the hotel.
The latest death now pushes the death toll at Disney World to 68 since opening in 1971, the outlet reports.
