than the rest of the country. They placed a 14 day quarantine on incoming visitors which was effective in slowing the infection rate. It looks like the island of Kauai has reached the point where they have stopped the virus in its tracks. Since there geographical situation differs from other states there could be a different outcome compared to the rest of the nation.
