As far as how the debate went, both candidates made their points, neither was really rude to the other, but it seemed that Ms. Bustos was getting angry at times. And Schilling, to his credit(I guess) seemed to be able to keep his cool.
Now to be honest with you, I don't live in Illinois so I don't have a dog in this fight (to quote Bill Clinton) but I live right across the river and as a result, see a LOT of ads and hear and read a LOT of coverage of Ill. 17th district. This didtrict, as well as the walsh-Duckworth race have been targeted by both parties and have gotten ugly. I hope Ms. Duckworth wipes the floor with walsh and refuses to speak to him after he concedes, unless it's to demand an apology.
