As I think you're referring to State's Attorneys, that is, attorneys who are employed by the State, counties, and other governmental jurisdictions, I suggest you edit within your post to upper case 'S' for clarity. (I was admitted to practice in Illinois, haven't practiced there for many years, and I suspect you're not referring to plain old attorneys practicing in Illinois.)
