“She’s really bipartisan”
“He helped my son get into West Point”

All reason why people who hate Trump vote for Repugs in local elections. Can they take a minute and see how these people VOTE when they get back to the state capital? 99% of the time they toe the party line.
Our former state senator (R) was a pretty good friend of my parents and an actual nice guy. I voted for him before I knew better (he was the only R I ever voted for). Back to Harrisburg, lock step with the party. Was in office for decades til he finally retired. It’s impossible to get rid of local politicians like that.
