Here are the qualifications to be a county sheriff in Michigan:

-At least 18 years of age.
-High School Diploma or GED.
-Valid Driver's License and good Driving Record.
-United States Citizen.
-Good Correctable Eyesight.
-Michigan Resident upon hire.
-Be Qualified to Obtain a Concealed Pistol License.
