8. Technically, the primary is non-partisan so Democrats & Republicans both run in it

The two candidates with the most votes move on from the primary to the general and that would be Moriarty and Dimick.

There were 7 candidates running in the primary, Moriarty got 36% of the vote, Dimick received 18%, (Ryan Winkler was next with 16%)

I'm supporting Moriarty but I fear Dimick will win - I think she's the candidate most Republicans will prefer in the general & too many of the Democrats who didn't support Mary in the primary will go with her.
