16. One of the main issues I am discovering is semantics.

Mainly, that the term 'flat broke' seems to have changed its definition.

These days, it seems to imply that you are down to your last $50,000 or the like.

Traditionally, it means that you do not have two pennies to rub together.

I fall in to the second category.

Which means, for all intents and purposes, I am a second class citizen. I am supposed to be out there making someone else richer. Not sitting at home doing nothing. (Which is how they look at it. If I can breathe, I can be making someone else richer. Since I cannot magically create any wealth of my own, that is.)
