Kupchella seems to have no online record of political or partisan activities or donations, but he no longer works for KSTP and now owns media firms, including Bring Me The News, which generally seems neutral. But reports of increased crime are always to the GOP's advantage, so even if he didn't intend the report to be partisan, the GOP will use it that way.
