8. I live in the 8th, too. I was so nervous all day at work yesterday, I was sick to my stomach.

I raced to my polling place after work, just praying that the vote would come through for Nolan.

I'm in a tiny, totally rural precinct, with just 146 registered voters. 98 people voted there yesterday: 56 for Nolan, 33 for Mills (assholes!), and 9 for Sandman.

My precinct includes an Ojibwe reservation, who are generally faithful DFL voters. I imagine it was the white farmers in the area who voted Republican. And maybe a few of the Rez folks voted for Sandman, since he's a Fond du Lac Ojibwe. I don't blame them for that. I got to know him many years ago, and he's a respected traditional healer. I would have liked to been able to vote for him, too, except I knew Nolan needed every vote he could get, and I wasn't going to help that fuckwad Mills grab that House seat.

I am so very glad that Nolan got re-elected!
