I recommend checking your voting registration status regularly, and ESPECIALLY just prior to the cut off date for registration. Especially a good idea if you have GOP dominate county government. Don't let a county recorder who serves the GOP instead of the public boot you off the rolls when there is no time to re-register.

In Illinois we can register on Election Day so if there's a problem, it can be fixed questionseverything Friday #2
