From what I understand, most rabbis and influencers are all for vaccination-- the scriptures, after all, do tell them not to harm themselves. It's small groups of largely insular ultra-orthodox who distrust the government who reject vaxxing.

In that, they are not so much different than Protestant Christianity. Both have no Pope or other central authority, so the fringes are free to come up with all sorts of wackiness.
