One of the other things we did was to reimburse local candidates for their purchase of signs, bumper stickers, buttons. If they turned in an invoice, we would give them a set amount of money to help cover the expense. See if your county Democrats do that. That is one of the reasons we had drawdowns, raffles, picnics and all that. The money went to help local candidates.
