Ohio Secretary of State directs election officials to begin next round of voter list audits [View all]
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose is directing county election officials to begin the next round of voter list audits.
Secretary LaRose issued a directive on Monday which would begin the process of removing outdated or abandoned registrations eligible for removal by 2029.
As officials begin to process the new round of removals, boards of elections are also preparing to complete the removal of the previous round.
Those removals are scheduled to occur by September 23 of 2025.
